News from the Bureau of Meteorology

The Bureau of Meteorology’s rainfall and temperature outlooks for January to March 2013 are now available on the Bureau’s website. The outlooks indicate that a drier than normal season is more likely for some parts of eastern Australia. However, there is an even chance of above average or below average rainfall for most of the country. Warmer than normal days are likely over northern and most of eastern Australia, and warmer than normal nights are likely over northern and western Australia, with cooler nights favoured over parts of the southeast.
