Gridded water balance data for Australia
View or download historic and recent estimates of water stores and flows in the Australian landscape. Available estimates include soil water, groundwater, streamflow and evapotranspiration, among others. Most data are daily and have a resolution of around 5 km. The estimates are produced by a research version of the Australian Water Resources Assessment system (AWRA), a continental water balance monitoring system that is being developed jointly by CSIRO and the Bureau of Meteorology.
